Summary: Construct a source of clean water at a remote village in Liberia
Many, if not most, rural villages in Liberia lack clean water. Typically, the villages rely on streams and other sources that carry pathogens and other agents detrimental to human health and life. The goal of this project is to build a well for one of these villages. The well will be located appropriately to minimize the chances of contamination.
The funds will be used to purchase and transport materials, and to build the well. Club members will provide the funds and oversight in cooperation with Sinkor Club Number 79274, district 9101. The Sinkor Club is experienced with this type of project having build wells and lavoratory facilities in a number of villages.
