Summary: Dental screenings and oral health education for elementary school students.
"Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children" will provide oral health and nutrition days at elementary schools in the Whittier City School District during the Spring of 2020. Included are free dental screening, fluoride treatment, oral health and nutrition education and referral to care for low income elementary age children. Every participant will receive an oral health kit comprised of a toothbrush, tooth paste, floss, timer and educational material in English and in Spanish.
