Project Description Region: Africa Country: Nigeria Location: Isolo - Opin Total Budget: $50,524 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment This community has high case of VVF and need for repairs of Vagina of underage girls whose live is being destroyed by early marriage and childbirth. some of these girls are unable to go through normal delivery and must deliver through caeserian section. Most times before the young mothers are transferred / transported to the general hospital, about 2hours drive away, they will either die in the process or their babies or even have complications in the process. the fund will be used to set up an operating room with equipment that will be used in serving the lives of mothers and others in the community with minor or major surgical needs.
