Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Maternal and child health, Basic education and literacy
Assist in funding the basic operating expenses necessary for the Children's Lunch Box non-profit program in Anchorage Alaska. Meals are distributed to needy children to support the basic dietary requirements and facilitate their educational environment in the Anchorage School District. These children do not receive the proper nutrition and the economic environment with the COVID pandemic has placed many parents without funds. Requested matching funds is $5,000
Amount Requested from The Rotary Foundation (waived)

Total
$30,000
DDF contributions in grey are pending approval of the corresponding district committee.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
