This project is a Global Grant Scholarship to enable our candidate, a student at Texas Christian University, to attend the American University of Paris and study for a MA in Diplomacy and International Law.

The overall needs being addressed are peace building and conflict prevention.

The anticipated timeline is as follows:

January 2021 -

(a) GSETS orientation program on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021 in Houston, TX was cancelled and waiting for information for proposed rescheduled online orientation.

(b) Working on establishing working relationship with host country RC, Rotary Paris Condorde, that is is a 13 minute walk from the university. https://rotaryparisconcorde.com/

March 2021 - Admission to university.

June-July 2021 - Candidate goes to Paris and begins the degree program under this Global Grant.

Summer 2022 - Candidate completes her Masters degree under this Global Grant

.

The project funds will be used to pay for books, room and board and tuition.

.

Host club members in Paris will host Candidate at club meetings, introduce her to other Rotary Scholars, and be available for support and encouragement.

.

Club members in Fort Worth will communicate with her regarding progress, and will schedule her to attend and speak at club and district events when she returns.
