Project Description Region: Other Country: Mexico Location: Chihuahua Total Budget: $30,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy We are convinced that education is the best means to promote the development of communities. Due to the fact that it is a small community of 400 people, it has 80 children and young students who were left without a way to continue their studies because due to the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers were separated from the only school that serves 2 communities. We currently have the support of the Town Hall in terms of providing satellite internet and security measures for this computer room, that will be stablish in the school of this community.We also have the interest of a group of businessmen from the city of Chihuahua, interested in contributing to this project Our goal is to start with 10 computers, a desktop server, chairs and installation of this system, in the first community of El Saucillo, after that we will replicate the project in other 4 communities. Where we will benefit more than 2500 people, 200 families and 500 students ... The approximate cost of this project is estimated between $ 20,000 and $ 25,000 USD. So by bringing in a valued partners through this plataform, we can bring education to this much-needed community.
