The benefited organization supports around 250 students from the age group of 0 to 21 years old, both boys and girls, teenagers, or young kids.
The organization prioritizes groups of siblings who are at personal and / or social risk, including the offer of a shelter house for them, as well as for their own families that are in a situation of social vulnerability.
For providing all activities to the community involved, the benefited organization has an electricity average monthly cost of R$ 12,000 (U$ 2,300 dollars).
The installation of photovoltaic panels for energy generation will benefit the organization as it will enable around 85% of savings with monthly cost of electricity, generating an annual savings of R$ 122,000.00 (US 23,400 dollars).
Upon these savings, the organization will have the possibility to promote improvements in direct service to the target community with the purchase of hygiene items, cleaning products, clothing, footwear, medicines, school supplies and food.
Besides that, the organization will be able to expand the number of supported students and improve their facilities enabling better technical and professional learning for them.
