Community Assessment was carried out by members of the Rotary Club of Rudramati Kathmandu and rural Youth People Concerned Forum (RYPCF) from 22 September to 22 October 2018. This global grant project the funds will be used to train 100 poor and marginalized youth (ages 16-29, from an area outside Kathmandu, Nepal), in the arts of hospitality in order that they will be able to work as cooks, bakers, front desk attendants, wait staff, and housekeepers. Additionally, the participants will learn how to write their resumes, how to effectively find work, and how best to interview. The project will also equip them with skills to set up their own small businesses in street vending as well teach them lifeskills, career counseling, motivation and leadership.

The training of the students is expected to begin in January of 2021 with training completed 3 months.

The Rudramati Rotary Club will carry out both the selection of students and monitoring throughout and at the conclusion of the program. Members of the Denver Mile High Club will travel to Nepal at the end of the project to finalize any open issues, and to visit with and see the success of the students.

Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions.
