The community was visited and they requested a health centre. This is due to the fact the hospital is far from them and they have recorded cases where women and children die before getting to the hospital. Some pregnant women at point of delivery do not receive proper care and treatment because they resort to alternative/traditional medicine. A land has already been surveyed for this project. Attached herewith are photos of assessment and land site for the proposed health center.
This project is to enable all the people in the community to receive health care services whenever needed, especially the pregnant women at the point of delivery and nursing mothers. The aim is to deliver health services that are cost-effective and meet pre-established standards of quality. This project is to make universal health care accessible to all individuals and families in the community. Primary healthcare and public health measures, taken together, may be considered as the cornerstones of universal health systems. The timeline of this project is three months. Rotarians are getting involved by doing part of manual labour and ensure proper execution of project plan and overall proper usage of facility
