PROJECT: Combat COVID 19 in Gandevi and Bardoli area.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Rotary Gandevi is a Millennium Club of Rotary International chartered on 1 Jan.2000. We are very active club and have implemented 19 Matching Grants and 11 Global Grants amounting to US D 1.7 M, in various thrust areas of The Rotary Foundation. Considering the current situation of COVID 19 epidemic, Rotary Gandevi and Rotary Bardoli have decided to help the front line warriors like medical and para medical workers of government health centres, police staff, bank staff as well as other government office staff by providing them their protective consumables. In this gesture, Rotary Gandevi along with Rotary Bardoli have already provided more than 10,000 disposable masks, 10,000 sanitizers, 600 PPE KITS, 3000 gloves, 600 N 95 masks etc. to more than 15 government health centres as well as 5 charitable hospitals.
NEED OF AN HOUR:
Considering the unprecedented crisis, Rotary Gandevi and Rotary Bardoli have decided to sponsor a special Global Grant. Under this global grant, we intend to provide 500 PPE KITS, 20,000 sanitizers of 100 ml pack, 1000 N 95 masks, 11,000 hand gloves and 15,000 disposable masks to our front line warriors.
PROJECT BUDGET:
PPE KITS: INR 1,500*500= INR 750,000
SANITIZERS: INR 50*20,000= INR 1,000,000
N 95 MASKS: INR 250*1,000= INR 250,000
GLOVES: INR 5*11,000= INR 55,000
DISPOSABLE MASKS: INR 15*13,000 = INR 195,000
GRAND TOTAL: INR 2, 250,000 i.e US $ 30,000 ( Exchange rate: 1 US $ = INR 75)
