The Education for Work (EPT) course is being taught in the educational Institution in 15 laptops completely outdated to be used by all students in a classroom; in the same way the textile industry course is taught in a single sewing machine.
These academic deficiencies force the implementation and provision of greater equipment to achieve a higher quality educational process.
The educational population of the institution is 400 students who will use the equipment in their teaching.
Activities planned to address the need and how the project will be sustained in the long term:
To implement a computer center and textile industry atelier, in the Women's Educational Institution Our Lady of Guadalupe - CIRCA, the following will be done:
About implementation: Adaptation and improvement of the existing classrooms, paint them and fix electrical installations.
From the acquisition: Equipment for textile area: 10 straight sewing machines, 5 special mesher machines, 3 coaters, a cutting machine, a cutting table and utensils of the textile area.
Computer equipment: 15 computers, 4 printers, internal network system and all necessary accessories, adequate furniture.
Training: Two teachers from the institution will be trained in the corresponding areas.
The long-term support of the project will be through an agreement with the management and association of parents of the institution, who will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the equipment.
