The "Asociacion de pastores de Chalhuanca" is an association of Alpaca small breeders located in the Peruvian Andes. This association has a low subsistence income that keeps them in extreme poverty because they count with a reduced number of animals.
The objectives of this project are to:
- Increase the sales of the Alpaca fiber.
- Increase the livestock capital of the association.
- Increase the benefit of all the territorial area by the presence of male Alpacas of high genetic value that will serve as breeders.
- Train the members of the association about the fabrication and online sales of Alpaca fur products
As a result of this project, the members of the association and population of the area will increase their income. Indeed, this project will improve the quality of life by solving problems of family violence, health and education of 150 and 1000 people at a direct and indirect level, respectively.
