Project Description

Region: South America

Country: Argentina

Location: Sierras Bayas

Total Budget: $30,150

Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment

Sierras Bayas is a distant city 40 km from the nearest hospital. It has 8,000 inhabitants and a large mining activity, so it is very necessary to have an ambulance for the transfer of patients and injured in the mining activity. As we do not have a UTI in our town, it is imperative that the ambulance that transfers these people is equipped as a mobile UTI.

Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
