The hospital trabalhador in Curitiba-Parana-Brazil, is a public hospital, has been constructed a new area specialized in taking care of women and newborns. For that reason it is necessary to establish a Human Milk Bank.
This hospital use to attend 250 deliverys, 80 cesarians and 1.600 obstétrics apointments each month, rate of premature newborn is up to 12%. This newborn are of hight risk ,been necessary to be mainteined in CUI.
Its absolutly necessary the maternal milk feeding to obtain gain of weight and for the prevention of entercolitis necrotizant and of course dead.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
