The Chemotherapy Center is a structured unit for outpatient care of cancer patients located at 437 João Alfredo Street in Uberaba. The area is intended for the administration of anticancer therapy and related supportive care, as well as medical and multidisciplinary team procedures that do not require hospitalization, such as drug administration, biological sample collection, and specific medical examinations.The unit serves an average of 35 cancer patients / day from Monday to Friday. Currently the production capacity of chemotherapeutic drugs is below the demand met, around 16 medications / day. Being required to purchase 19 medication vials from outside pharmacies. This project aims to acquire the necessary equipment to produce chemotherapeutic drugs in an adequate amount to meet the demand, increasing the production of medication in the institution, reducing costs and risks of the patient not receiving drug treatment and thus favoring the treatment of cancer patients treated by the institution. . It will cost $ 35,000.
