The main beneficiaries are children from newborns to school age. The equipment to be acquired will allow to detect and diagnose auditory pathologies in healthy or high-risk children, and up to school age, which will allow improving access to early diagnosis and timely treatment, thus reducing the comorbidities that can result in loss of hearing.
The project development time will be 3 months for the acquisition of the equipment, 1 month for the training of professionals and 8 months of project monitoring.
The total of the projects is USD 35,000 and our club contributes USD 5,000
Additional Contribution (not matched by The Rotary Foundation)
$20,000
Total
$35,000
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
