A NOROSPAR - ASSOCIAÇÃO BENEFICIENTE DE SAUDE DO NORORESTE DO PARANÁ, não possui um Banco de Leite Materno - BLH, apenas um posto de coleta, onde há o armazenamento temporário de leite humano que é doado, seguindo para Pasteurização no BLH na cidade de Cascavel que fica a 160 quilômetros de Umuarama/Pr., somente após o retorno é distribuído aos bebês internados na UTI, que atualmente está em torno de 1080 bebês/ano. (90 bebês/mês) - As instalações físicas para o funcionamento do Banco de Leite foram adequadas pela Norospar, mas não possui os equipamentos necessários para o seu funcionamento como Banco de leite Humano. - Os funcionários já estão sendo treinados no Banco de Leite Humano do Hospital Universitário do Oeste do Paraná da cidade de Cascavel e também através de cursos de Educação à Distância através da plataforma digital da Rede Brasileira de Banco de Leite Humano/ FIOCRUZ/MS. - O leite será coletado pelas próprias lactantes, em suas casas, será armazenado por congelamento, em seus próprios refrigeradores e semanalmente serão coletados por voluntários, corpo de bombeiros, funcionários das secretarias municipais de saúde, hospital e serão levados até o Banco de leite Humano para serem armazenados e preparados para o processo da pasteurização localmente, após todo o processamento o leite estará pronto para uso em tempo real, diariamente. - Existe uma cultura para doação de leite, que é estimulada durante o atendimento Pré-natal, porém é necessário incentivar o aumento do número de doadoras de leite humano que atualmente é de apenas 635 mulheres/ano, tanto na maternidade, quanto nas Unidades básicas de saúde e Centro Mae e em especial nos consultórios dos obstetras. - Potencializar a capacidade de atendimento, considerando que a entidade pretende atender às exigências do Ministério da Saúde e se habilitar à Iniciativa Hospital amigo da criança, o que levará à necessidade de aumentar de 3 a 4 vezes o volume de leite humano consumido atualmente, meta possível com o Banco de leite de Humano instalado. -Não é oferecido nenhum benefício financeiro às doadoras, elas o fazem por cidadania. A coleta será na NOROSPAR somente quando as doadoras estiverem internadas. - Oportunizar às crianças cujas mães apresentam dificuldades ou impedimento de amamentar, que tenham acesso ao leite materno. - Prevenir através do aleitamento materno complicações relacionadas às crianças nascidas prematuramente, com baixo peso ou com condições patológicas diagnosticadas logo após o nascimento ou mesmo na fase intrauterina. - Orientar as puérperas que não tiveram oportunidade anterior sobre as técnicas de amamentação. Serão beneficiários deste Subsídio a NOROSPAR que é uma entidade filantrópica, mantenedora da Maternidade Regional, que atende 21 municípios e uma população estimada no ano de 2018 de 275.719 habitantes, localizada no noroeste do estado do Paraná, prestando serviços diferenciados à população com atendimento SUS - Sistema Único de Saúde, faz parte da Rede Materna Infantil do Estado do Paraná e da Rede Cegonha do Ministério da Saúde (programa federal) e é referência Regional para partos de baixo risco, risco intermediário e Alto risco, oferece atendimento humanizado com acolhimento da gestante e seus familiares. A média de nascimentos mês é de 180 bebês. Desses 180 bebês que nascem mensalmente, em torno de 90 bebês por mês usam o leite Humano, sendo priorizado os internados na UTI. A instalação do Banco de leite poderá em três anos elevar esse número para mais de 3.000 bebês/ano, alimentados unicamente pelo leite humano, seja pelas ações de incentivo a amamentação ou através do aumento de doadoras de leite humano, podendo ser a referência para todas as unidades hospitalares (10 hospitais) na região que compreendem 21 MUNICIPIOS.
