There are many small weirs and dams in rural Maharashtra that have significantly degraded due to silt deposits. We plan to de-silt one such weir and dramatically improve its water storage capacity.
In addition, we plan to construct a pipeline + pumping station to pump the water to a nearby village to help the villagers, primarily women, get easy access to water.
