To renovate the School for Government approved middle school at MADURAI, TAMILNADU.

Classes from 1st standard to 8th standard.

Strength - Boys 120+ Girls 130= Total 250

Staff strength including Head Master - 11

Rotary club of MADURAI STAR proposal is for the

NETHAJI MIDDLE SCHOOL at JAIHINDPURAM -MADURAI-625011

to provide Borewell for Safe water facilities, water storage tank,

sanitation

to provide computer lab with computer training,

to build toilets for the boys and girls separately, as the existing toilets are soiled and damaged.

to build partition concrete wall between class rooms to avoid noise disturbance from the neighboring classes,

to remove asbestos roof sheets and provide concrete cement roofing, to eliminate heat which is causing health problems due to heat generation from the Asbestos roof to the Students ,

to build side walls in the classrooms in the first floor which are open now, so that safety of the students are ensured .

to provide desks and benches in steel to avoid the students sitting on the floor now, which is now causing BACK PAIN, NECK PAIN, EYE STRAIN, as they have to sit for continuous 3 hours in 2 sessions totaling to 6 hours per day to the students, when they are watching the black board, from the sitting position on the floor.

to provide SMART CLASS ROOM infrastructure to learn from the e-World

as a common facility for the students with necessary furniture and fixtures,

to provide urinals for the boys and hand washing stations.

to provide training on hygiene
