Project Description Region: South America Country: Brazil Location: Fortaleza - CE Total Budget: $43,000 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment The Project will be developed at the Zoom Institute, which is a Civil Society Organization that serves autistic people from the city of Salto and region, based at Floriano Peixoto Street, 1689. The population served is autistic and currently serves 110 people and has 90 on the list. wait. Due to the increased demand for vacancies, because of the worldwide statistics, for every 59 children born, 1 is born autistic, the Institute together with the community and Rotary Motonnee conducted the Builder Angel Campaign and expanded the physical space of the organization with 7 more. In 2020, the APROXIMAR Special School for Autists will be inaugurated, which will attend the 90 waiting list cases. The responsible for the project is the direction of the Zoom Institute and will be maintained by the Agreement with the State Department of Education, through a public notice and law acquired by autists.
