Castanhal, located in the state of Pará - Brazil, belongs to metropolitan region III, with a population of approximately 196000 inhabitants. There is currently a pent-up demand for ultrasound examinations. Despite having two equipment in the city, only one is working poorly, the waiting list points to 2376 people waiting for the exam, some for over a year, considering only the residents of Castanhal and still has the neighboring municipalities that are over 7500 people. Ultrasound equipment costing US $ 35000 is required from the Municipal Hospital, where the Municipal Health Department will be responsible for installing and maintaining the equipment.

Dropped
This project has been "Dropped". Check the history log entries to see why it was dropped.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
