Support project for the São Carlos Borromeo Hospital, at Vereador José Loureiro Avenue, S / N, Pedra Mole District, Teresina - Piauí, CEP: 64.066-050 which develops activities in the curative area of the surrounding communities, with a current population of over of 240,000 thousand inhabitants. Its main objective is to welcome and serve those who need care through the following health services: ambulatory and emergency care, clinical and pediatric hospitalization, clinical analysis, imaging (X-ray and ultrasound), cardiology, among others. In 2018, approximately 105 thousand calls were made 100% by SUS - Unified Health System to the neediest population.
The hospital has 39 beds for hospitalization in addition to outpatient care. It has its own laundry but being very old, it implies a high maintenance cost. 100 kilos of clothes are washed per day. As the hospital does not have its own resources to renovate its equipment, the proposed project foresees the acquisition of a horizontal washer, a centrifuge and a clothes dryer. The responsible for the use and maintenance of the equipment will be FUNACI- Padre Antônio Dante Civiero Foundation, responsible for the hospital management.A
