Our main goal is to make colonoscopy check ups to prevent colon cancer in 200 endangered people, who are also economically unable to pay the normal costs.
In our country, the third most-common dead cause is colon cancer. Every year, 150,000 new cases appear and 9 from them all are in advanced stages, because they don't receive the attention required and they don't get the proper check up.
To fulfill this ambitious project we need: 73,231.57 USD. Our Rotary Club will help with 2,173 USD. So the amount we ask you to help us with is: 71,058.57 USD.
We are looking for a Club partner. Click here to pledge support for this project. Recording a pledge will make you the Primary International Partner for this project.
Project Status
Dropped
This project has been "Dropped". Check the history log entries to see why it was dropped.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
