Project Description Region: North America Country: Mexico Location: Tepic, Nayarit Total Budget: $82,105 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment The project benefits 65 women (from 20 to 50 years old), whos productive life is affected by the vesicular inflammatory disease. This specific illness affects 80% of mexican women and can make them loose more than 5 days every month of their productive life due to the severe pain and the long internment at the medical clinics of our public health system. Our main goal is to completely solve their suffering by a surgical laparoscopic treatment. To fulfill this, we require 82,105.26 USD. Each surgery will cost 1,263.15 USD. We allied with a local clinic and specialists to generate the minimum costs. We plan to maintain the sustaintability of this project over the next years by demonstrating the effectiveness and sincerity. As the project keeps on, we can obtain the resource within donations from the specialists involve in this project (equivalent to one third of the money). The rest of the quantity, we will get it by council commitments. The last part we will get it from the patients fees (which is just a minimum cost).
