The project is focused on the construction of a community school in an indigenous population in Jalisco, of the Wixárika culture, they have been working with local volunteer teachers in improvised classrooms for several years, the support would ensure a decent space.
This educational project is designed by the community, strengthening its own culture and with an academic impulse that allows young people to continue their studies and have better opportunities in their life and work project.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
