Project Description Region: South-East Asia Country: Bangladesh Location: Greater Faridpur Total Budget: $61,452 Area of Focus: Water, sanitation and hygiene PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project is the Installation of 52 deep tube well in order to supply safe drinking water to 1040 house holds, approximately 6000 people in Gopalganj and Faridpur district, Bangladesh where over 90% water supply is Arsenic contaminated. In addition 52 hygenic toilet will be built to serve around 600 households in order to prevent diseases and improve overall health hygene.
