Landhakottai is a under privileged village with many unemployed. As the prime vocation agriculture fails due to monsoon failure, many families are struggling for their live hood. Many families have low income due to unemployment. The men are moving to near by towns to work and earn for their family. However, due to lack of skill and travel distance to towns, women are ideal.
