Project Description

Region: South America

Country: Brazil

Location: South

Total Budget: $77,000

Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment

Public health professionals from Marechal Cândido Rondon city have presented a need for new Digital X-ray equipment, because their current equipment is obsolete, and results in unconfident diagnoses due the low quality.

In addition, it is difficult to find supplies for this old equipment, and it is not agile as the new ones. Its technological operation delays the diagnosis and also results in harmful consequences to the health of the patients and to the workers that operates it.
