Project Description Region: Africa Country: Nigeria Location: Aba, Abia State Total Budget: $30,324 Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Water, sanitation and hygiene Improper disposal of human excreta causing communicable and water born diseases and spread of toilet infections was identified for good health, proper toilet facility at the market for excreta will drastically reduce infections. The project will provide flush toilets with Urinaries, hand wash and safe drinking water to the Umungasi Market.A market with a population of 600 visitors and 400 sellers.It will provide Proper disposal of human excreta, prevention of communicable and water born diseases and spread of toilet infection and polution from improper excreta will drastically reduce as they will get private area for their needs Between october to march is the time time and club members will monitor work on going intervally since we all wish a successful completion.
