The objective of the project is the acquisition of a trailer, customized, in "Mobile Dental Unit" for the treatment of cavities, gum diseases, promotion and prevention of Oral Health in children and adolescents in the age group from 3 to 15 years of age , from four village communities: Estaca Zero, Zé de Holanda, Jardim Europa and Santa Rita in the city of Teresina, Piauí. Cavities and gum disease compromise other organs. This Project will prevent children and adolescents in all four villages from either going to school or having reduced reasoning ability in the classroom due to toothache. Oral diseases affect other organs of the body and school performance is compromised. With this project the children and adolescents of the four villages will have quality health with the elimination of dental outbreaks, caries teeth restorations, gum bleeding treatment, due to incorrect brushing and nonexistent as some reported cases. Improve school attendance. Parallel to clinical care, health promotion with educational and illustrative lectures, oral hygiene orientation, supervised brushing and topical application of fluoride will change habits in the four communities of the beneficiary villages. The "Mobile Dental Unit" will be kept under the custody and administration of the Center of Spiritist Studies "Anália Franco", founded on September 10, 2007, bearer of CNPJ n.12.731.867.0001 / 04, through its public and private institutional partnerships. private partnerships, will be responsible for the sustainability of the services. The project's service schedule is aimed at meeting the 50 families registered in the entity and the more than 980 people from the four villages, with a weekly frequency of twice a week, in the morning and afternoon shifts. Rotary Club members from Teresina-Joquei will have a monthly commitment to supervise the project with visits to beneficiary communities, making the necessary notes to improve the project. The cost of the project using a custom trailer in "Mobile Dental Unit" will be $ 33,801. This project falls within the area of focus: Prevention and Treatment of Diseases.
