The Global Grant Project aims the acquisition of equipment of one ICU Neonatal unit for the HOESP - Born Jesus Hospital, Philanthropic Entity located in the city of Toledo Paraná, Brazil. The hospital is the only one that assists newborns of 18 municipalities in the West Parana Region with a population of around 450.000 people. The goal is to reduce the mortality rate of premature children and offer a better access to medical assistance and essential treatment for newborns.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
