Project Description Region: South America Country: Brazil Location: Jaboatão - Pernambuco Total Budget: $68,022 Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Maternal and child health Acquisition of a Mobile ICU Ambulance Vehicle Sprinter Van containing: stretcher, oxygen cylinder, vacuum cleaner bottle, humidifier, support of blood and serum, triple slit, flow meter and valve with pressure gauge. The ambulance will benefit all patients treated at Hospital Memorial Jaboatão. In 2017, more than 50,000 patients were cared for, in addition to those cared for in their homes by the program of Home Care Service - SAD. With the acquisition of the ambulance it is expected an increase of about 50% in the current volume of care.
