This Project aims the purchase of 50 hospital cribs (with the mattresses) and 02 phototherapy machines/devices for the maternity wards and rooms of Hospital da Providência Materno Infantil - located in Apucarana, state of Paraná for newborns to stay with their mothers for 24hours a day. Hospital da Providência Materno Infantil is a philanthropic institution which attends mothers with high risk pregnancies and neonatal ICU Level II. It has 111 beds (69 for the public health system patients) and attends more than 17 cities besides having the 9th human milk bank in the state. 173 physicians of 18 different areas besides the 176 employees work at the hospital. An average of 201 deliveries are performed a day. The cribs and phototherapy machine will bring a better care and more comfort for the newborns. The hospital attends a population of about 485.483 in. and more than 75% through the public health system.
