Project Description Region: Asia Country: India Location: Salem District Tamil Nadu Total Budget: $32,530 Areas of Focus: Water, sanitation and hygiene, Basic education and literacy, Community economic development UPLIFTMENT OF RURAL GOVERNMENT SCHOOL IN NANGAVALLI VILLAGE OF SALEM DISTRICT RID 2982. The government middle school is now in very poor condition & currently has 432 students. Our Rotary club as identified this school because of the proximity of of club members & plan to to uplift the school by Constructing new toilet block/Replastering the buildings/fixing New overhead Steel sheets/Changing windows & doors /Improving the school play ground with amenities for playing . The cost of the project is expected to be 30000 USD & we expect USD from District Funds & 10000 uSd from International partner & 15000 usd from TRF.
