Project Description Region: South America Country: Paraguay Location: Luque Total Budget: $38,000 Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Maternal and child health Detected a great need and lack of basic equipment in the Regional Hospital of Luque in meetings with the Medical Director and pointing out the most sensitive areas and attending to the high demand of that Hospital for a population in need of health, we went to the Luque Rotary Club carry out a project to equip an hospital room as well as a delivery room, thus giving a solution to a growing need in the community, with this we would be giving a better quality of life to children and pregnant women, giving a proper attention in what refers to child maternal health and we believe that we would be mitigating the pain of many mothers who turn to the Hospital and have no place for their attention, this is a Hospital that cares for approximately 1200 pediatric patients and maternidade per day Primary Host Partner District: 4845 Rotary Club of: Luque Primary Contact: Victor Manuel Báez Email: baezvic@itacom.com.py Primary International Partner District: 4310 Rotary Club of: Primary Contact: Emilio Cassano Email: emiliocassano@uol.com.br Project Status Dropped This project has been "Dropped".
