The project involves the purchase and donation of Apheresis machine to a hospital in Quezon City, which screens blood especially of children with rare diseases.

Beneficiaries includes patients with hematological, oncological and immune deficiency diseases including those with Thalassemia and Leukemia. With early detection and low screening cost, early detection increases chances of survival.

The Rotary Club of San Francisco Del Monte, in partnership with the Fe Del Mundo Medical Center, will be putting up a blood bank program and with the Apheresis machine, help address the needs of the patients, especially the indigent ones.

The project can be implemented within a 3 month period from approval of funding.
