We Rotary district 3231 compiles four revenue district and has a population of over 2 Million. Water demand is the major crisis in our district due to the improper monsoon and lesser rainfall. The shortage of water increases regularly. So, we Rotary District 3231 along with Rotary E Club of Vellore has decided to provide water through 5 special water tankers to supply water regularly to the drought areas. These special tankers also be utilised to plant trees all around the Vellore district. These tankers have a separate compartment for carrying Saplings, shovels and other tools for digging and planting trees. This vehicle can be used for both providing water, planting tree and maintaining it by this we can ensure a better future for the peoples living around here
