Project Description Country: USA Location: Montgomery, IL Total Budget: $500 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: 2 remote supportive seminars held for parents of preschool children. This is an Early Childhood Education District Grant. Covid-19 has thrown a wrench into education with various School Districts implementing various learning plans. Those impacted the most are younger learning. Many parents are left with limited support from School Districts. The grant would be used for two seminars one in person and one remote session to give parents resources to assist their preschoolers particularly from a social and emotional perspective. These sessions will be held at the end of October at a local Community Building.
