Project Description Country: USA Location: Bolingbrook, IL Total Budget: $500 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Provide lap size magnetic dry erase white boards for preschoolers in Valley View School District to use at home for remote learning during COVID-19. This is an Early Childhood Education District Grants. The Rotary Club of Bolingbrook and the Rotary Club of Romeoville will purchase for preschoolers in our shared school district (Valley View School District) lap size dry erase boards. The pre-schoolers would use the boards at home for remote learning. Valley View staff noted that this would be a great tool for practicing all type of preschool skills. Rotarians would be involved in contactless delivery and distribution of the boards to alleviate the burden from teachers and parents.
