Summary: Recognition of community members adversely affected by Covid-19 and environment enhansement by planting a grove of trees.
Plant a grove of trees in the village park to enhance the environment and beautify the park for all community members to enjoy, while recognizing the many residents and businesses of Croton on Hudson who were adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic that began in 2020. The objective of the project is to commemorate the resilience our community demonstrated to overcome severe challenges present by the disease. Those efforts exemplify the Rotary philosophy of "Service Above Self". A Rotary plaque will be appropriately worded and installed in this grove of trees for future remembrance and Rotary recognition.
