Project Description Country: USA Location: Sioux Falls, SD Total Budget: $14,000 Areas of Focus: Basic education and literacy, Community economic development Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Help Camp Leif Erickson improve its amenities by building new dock at lake and treehouse for camp in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, USA Camp Leif Ericson serves kids of all ages through summer camps. During a typical year they serve 3,000+ campers a summer plus additional youth in the spring and fall. The camp has several needs they have shared with us for continued improvement. We would like to help them build a tree house on their property estimated cost of $10,000. The second project, we would like to help with is a new dock (replacement dock) at wall lake retreat. The estimated cost of $4000.00. We would have active participation in building and design. In addition ensure Rotary signage is present on both project in the design. This camp helps kid develop basic education skills by engaging brains, develop new concepts, and helps kids get caught up in education during summer months which in turn help improve our local economy.
