Total Budget: $3,000 Areas of Focus: Basic education and literacy, Community economic development Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Fallbrook Union Elementary School District teachers and administration provided with Distance Learning Playbook, Grades K-12 to support continued online learning. Due to the current pandemic, education will be online going forward. Fallbrook Union Elementary School District teachers require guidance to engage students and teach for impact online. The Distance Learning Playbook, Grades K-12 has been identified by the District's Education Services as a valuable tool to better understand what works best with distance learning. More than 350 administrators and teachers require this text. The teachers will gain practices for meaningful learning, diverse instructional approaches, and special distance learning guidance to ensure equitable education. The Fallbrook Village Rotary will partner with the District by providing a $3,000 (one-third of the playbook purchase costs). The school district will purchase this playbook prior to the school year. Our Rotarians will reimburse the school as soon as grant funds are available. Addendum to Project Description (added after the project was signed) Our Rotary will further participate in the playbooks' distribution to individual teachers and administrators at different school district locations and partner in the playbook's implementation.
