Summary: Food for students while not attending school
SUMMER HARVEST is a local nonprofit with the primary mission of providing food to local students enrolled in the free or reduced lunch program while they are NOT in school. The early release from school due to the COVID-10 outbreak, along with the extended summer break, has depleted resources necessary to continue this vital program. Grant funds will be used to purchase food directly from suppliers and, if health ruses permit, the distribution of that food by club members.
This project is "Approved". This means that the district leadership has reviewed and approved the allocation of district funds for this project. Once the funds from the district have been issued, the status of the project will be changed to "Paid".
