Mary's Kitchen is a long established provider of food and supplies to the local homeless community. Over time, the equipment used to store and prepare food breaks down and is no longer functional. The purpose of this grant is for the Rotary Club of Villa Park to purchase some much-needed equipment for Mary's Kitchen, including equipment that helps sanitize the area where the homeless congregate for access the food. Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Villa Park will acquire this equipment and continue to volunteer at Mary's Kitchen to prepare and serve food.
