Project Description Country: USA Location: San Diego Total Budget: $500 Areas of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention, Water, sanitation and hygiene, Maternal and child health Activity Type: Health: General Summary: The funds will allow San Diego Youth Services to purchase critical items like cleaning supplies, sanitizers, hygiene supplies, masks, gloves and grocery gift cards. The Pacific Beach Rotaract Club will donate our Covid-19 Grant $500 total to San Diego Youth Services. https://sdyouthservices.org/call-for-critical-supplies/ San Diego Youth Services help support homeless, runaway and other vulnerable youth in San Diego and have not closed their doors during this time of pandemic. They provide a multitude of services including food, shelter, financial support and mental services. They are currently in need of supplies like cleaning supplies, gloves, masks, hygiene supplies, hand soap, hand sanitizer, grocery gift cards and other items. They have provided essential services to our San Diego youth for fifty years and we would like to support them during this time of need. Pacific Beach Rotaract will donate $250 from club funds that members voted on to go towards San Diego Youth Services which would be matched by the District Covid-19 grant of $250 bringing the total to $500.
