Project Description Country: USA Location: Gothenburg Total Budget: $2,000 Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention Activity Type: RI Youth Programs (Youth Exchange, RYLA, Rotaract, Interact) Summary: Support Youth Exchange of two students for the 2020-21 school year. Two high school students have been accepted for Rotary Youth Exchange for the 2020-21 school year. The students are active participants in the Gothenburg Interact Club under the leadership of a member of Gothenburg Rotary. The Gothenburg Rotary Club will provide personal support and encouragement to these students during their time overseas. We would also like to provide monetary support for the costs associated with the exchange. This project supports Rotary's peace mission, by allowing the students to immerse themselves in and gain an understanding of another culture.
