Summary: Hinsdale Central Scholarships for Future Academic and Vocational Education
Each year, the Rotary Club of Hinsdale IL provides approximately $12,000 for students in need who graduate from Hinsdale Central High School. These scholarships are for both future academic and vocational education.
Earlier this year, $781 of the $1840 District Grant DDF was used in the P-2613 Computer Server project for the YMEN organization. For this new request, $1059 will be applied to the Hinsdale Central scholarship program, upon approval by The Rotary Foundation
Addendum to Project Description (added after the project was signed)
Applications from deserving Hinsdale Central High School students are being reviewed. The $12,000 in total scholarships, including the $1059 from Rotary District 6450, will be awarded at the end of the HCHS school year. At this point, that end date, due to the public health situation we are experiencing, is uncertain. However, we are working directly with HCHS college counselors to insure that prompt notice to the students and disbursement to the student's university/college is done in a timely manner.

This is a reminder that the final report for your 2019-2020 District is due upon completion of your club’s project. I know that your club designates its funds for scholarships. If you have already made your scholarship awards, please complete your final report as soon as possible, and no later than June 15. NOTE: If you haven’t spent all your funds, they can be repurposed for COVID 19. Please contact me for more information about that.
It is ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL that you file your final report on time. If you don’t, the 2020-21 grant for the ENTIRE District will be DELAYED.

Sorry. District total contribution was $1,059; not $1080.

Due to a mix up on my part as a new President, I submitted the incorrect back up. I am adding the 2019-2020 final scholarships, and cancelled checks for each scholarship awardee.
