The Village Care Project is currently focused on helping provide clean water filters to indigenous village people in Tanzania, Africa. They are also providing malaria bed nets to help curb this dangerous disease carried by mosquitoes. Georgia Evans, the Founder of the organization is going to 4 villages, with an estimated 40-60 people and investing in the following initiatives:
She is taking 4 community size water filters, which helps about 240 people total
She is taking 5-6 new buckets and bucket water filters, which helps 12 people/per village/per bucket
She is taking 6-7 bales of mosquito nets, within that each bale holds approx 40 nets. This helps approx 240-280 people.
She is taking 3 suitcases filled with preventative care items to an orphanage. The orphanage currently houses approximately 35 children, they have helped 400 orphans to date.
