Project Description Country: USA Location: Naperville Total Budget: $1,100 Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention Activity Type: Peace: General Summary: Provide holiday gifts to elementary and junior high school kids who might not otherwise receive gifts Our club will coordinate with Naperville School District 203 to provide some holiday cheer to kids identified by the district who might not otherwise receive gifts. Our members will donate 12 gifts for elementary school kids, valued at $50 each, and will have the option to donate cash. Cash donations and the funds from the district grant will be used to purchase gift cards for junior high school kids. We will obtain wish list from the district in early November, distribute this to our members, collect gifts and cash donations and deliver all donations to the school district on or before December 15, 2019.
