We are helping students through this program to become better students, leaders, and community minded individuals. The Rotary Club of Yorktown, NY. We would like to sponsor four (4) RYLA Students in 2020. We are helping students through this program to become better students, leaders, and community minded individuals. This will promote values, ethics, and camaraderie that will build more rounded individuals who will develop friendships and leaderships skills that they can use throughout their life. Creating leadership in our local students helps them be more productive and engaged in the community, it will lead them on a positive path to the future and in all their endeavors. This grant will be used to fund four (4) students to attend the 2020 RYLA in April. (4 x $275 = $1,100.00) Addendum to Project Description (added after the project was signed) The Rotary Club of Yorktown would like to change our project to help the seniors in our community with food, essentials such as toiletries and any other needs the community needs.
